The Kent Island bike trail is only a 3 minute drive from your Chesapeake Bay vacation rental, Baydreams. The trail starts at the Kent Narrows on the east side of Kent Island. It runs the full length of the island and ends at a beach on the Chesapeake Bay, overlooking the bay bridge. When you reach the beach, be sure to do some shelling and spot horseshoe crabs. This wide bike trail is fully paved, safe and dedicated to biking/hiking with guardrails throughout. It winds its way through wooded areas and over several very scenic bridges dedicated to the trail. It's fun for the whole family and good exercise too.
